Maybe I should say this: This is not a newspaper, nor is it subject to the (past) "fairness" doctrine of the FCC. If you want "fair" and "balanced" news coverage I urge you to seek FOX News, increasingly a favorite choice of many American viewers. I do not submit to "special requests" of what you think I should cover or say. This is a mirror of my reflections, biases, and eccentricities. I have not designed the site to substitute a daily newspaper that you read. I do not have obligations to anybody, but myself and my beliefs. I tend to cover or highlight what I believe is least covered, or not covered at all. Furthermore, I do not feel that I have to do what Arab/Muslim American organizations do: to account for the behavior of every Arab/Muslim anywhere around the world. I will not fall into that trap that merely reinforces the cloud of suspicion that hovers over the head of every Arab/Muslim in the US. If you want a whiney or docile Arab or Muslim perspective, you may visit the sites of the various Arab or Muslim organizations in the US, OK? Finally, I am not running for office, and I am not seeking your support for anything. I do not want to please you, or earn your respect or approval. I do not mind being asked my opinion of a development or event, provided the request or question is not wrapped with layers of venom and prejudice.
