Christopher Hitchens has become an unabashed advocate for the colonization of Muslim lands--and I told him so in our Radio debate last year. His bigotry against Islam is undisguised now. You have to read his piece from Pakistan in Vanity Fair last year. And here, he talks about Edward Said. Notice how important Said's Christianity (the man was an atheist) is to Hitchens. In fact, he outrageously seems to imply that Jews and Christians in the Holy Land should be united against Muslims. Unbelievable. I wish Hitchens told the readers that Said was refusing to speak to him in the last few years of his life. When Hitchens would call Said's house, he was consistently told that Said was not there.
