Arab reviews of Bush's TV appearances are in. Apparently, he was a huge hit. Arabs loved what he had to say. He even convinced them that Sharon is indeed a "man of peace." This from the New York Times: "The issue of the Iraqi prisoners came on top of a series of anti-Arab policies in the past few weeks. Nobody believes that Bush has any good intentions for the Arabs." Another view: "He is a liar," said Bassim Muhammad, 30, the shop owner. "It has been a year of occupation with nothing but empty promises." Gratified, Bush's advisors urge him to do more of those brilliant Arabic interviews.
