In a humanitarian gesture that will certainly change the public opinion of the Palestinian people, the Israeli state releases a Palestinian prisoner before his 13th birthday. (Oh, yes, Israel routinely holds children , women, and elderly in custody). It is also amazing that after daily Israeli killing of Palestinians for the last several weeks, the White House press spokesperon suddenly addressed the issue: he strongly condemned the Palestinian attack in Israel, and said NOT A WORD about Israeli killing of Palestinians. For him and his administration, Palestinian lives do not count.
