`Abdul-`Aziz Ad-Duri

The Center for Arab Unity Studies has been publishing the collected works of Iraqi historian, `Abdul-`Aziz Ad-Duri. Historians of the Middle East can't ignore this historian. I read one volume which contains a collection of his research papers. One dealt with Muhammad's biographer, Ibn Ishaq. Such vast knowledge of the sources combined with critical evaluation of the materials and methodologies of historians.
