Look how the New York Times justifies hatred of Muslim immigrants

"It could also lend weight to the xenophobic arguments of right-wing populists like Marine Le Pen".  Imagine this bigoted argument if directed, say, against blacks or Jewish: imagine if an article were to say, the fact that one murder is black or Jewish would justify hatred of blacks or Jews. Imagine the justifiable outrage at such bigoted arguments.
