The picture below of Abbas Mahmud Aqqad in Palestine before its occupation

Isam, an alert reader reminded me what is mentioned in the book Army of Shadows of the event: that in October 1940, Zionist collaborator, Fakhri Nashshashibi was dining in the King David hotel with Abbas Mahmoud Aqqad and Abdul-Qadir Mazini, who arrived to Jerusalem in response to an invitation by the British to participate in anti-German propaganda from the government station.  When the three left the hotel, a gunmen shot at them but missed (all three).
