Ibn Taymiyyah

I was reading his fatwas yesterday.  This dangerous fanatical guy is one of the worst in the entire history of Islamic political thought: he was a most skilled polemicists who knew how to use language to reach the largest number of people.  He knew how to produce and document his fatwas to the public.  For that, he lives more than the great minds of Arab-Islamic thought, like Ibn Sina or Farabi or Ibn Rushd or others.  The latter group wrote for one anther, while Ibn Taymiyyah wrote for the masses.
