Hizbullah and unionist struggle in Lebanon

Yet, again: Hizbullah, in its total disregard of the on-going unionist struggle in Lebanon, proves that it is no more than a reactionary party tied to the ruling capitalist system of Lebanon.  This was at the heart of the alliance between Hariri and Hizbullah.  Contrary to wishful thinking among some naive Western leftists, the party is very much right-wing and reactionary as far as its economic agenda is concerned.  Its former minister of energy, Muhammad Fnaysh, prepared a plan for the privatization of electric power in Lebanon which won accolades in Hariri quarters.  Let us face it: the party is excellent and skillful in fighting Israeli occupation and aggression, but is lousy in everything else it does.
