Look how the New York Times regularly provides justifications for war crimes against `Alawite civilians in Syria

"Investigators also cited “credible admissions against their own interest” by witnesses of the mass killing of five members of one family whose execution was filmed and posted on the Internet. They said a member of the rebel Free Syrian Army had acknowledged that his brigade captured and executed five Alawites, members of the Shiite Muslim minority that provides the bedrock of support for President Bashar al-Assad."  Would the New York Times ever refer to Jewish victims of violence as "the religious community that provides the bedrock of support for the Israeli government"?
