Some minds are just brilliant and they impress me. Like Hegel or Marx or Arendt or Adorno. Here, in the US, I am very impressed with the mind of Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer (despite my detestation for his politics). I also like Michael Kinsley as a writer/columnist (I hate his politics too). And as of late, I am very impressed with the mind of Dr. Ben Carson, the neurosurgeon of Johns Hopkins University, despite his right-wing views. Really enjoyed reading his "Gifted Hands" book. He has a way of arguing and speaking that is mesmerizing.
