Saudi princes' liberals

Jamal Khashoqji is considered a Saudi liberal (liberalism here is defined by the House of Saud).  He will soon direct yet another news station owned by Prince Al-Walid bin Talal bin Voltaire.  In this piece, Khashoqji pays tribute to Prince Salman and denies that Al-Qa`idah was the product of the anti-communist Afghan period.   He must think that bin Laden was a misunderstood man.   People don't know that Khashoqji was a follower of Bin Laden before he stumbled on books by Saudi princes which transformed him to the liberal cause.
