Barry Obama and the "Arab Street"

Look at this line in the New York Times:  " the Obama administration continued its defense of the Arab street".  Where is Barry Obama defending the "Arab street"?  In Palestine? In Saudi Arabia? In Bahrain? In Jordan?  In Morocco? In Algeria?  In Oman? In Kuwait? In Iraq?  In UAE?  In Kuwait? Where? Where, damn it?
