Standards of the New York Times

Between Israeli torture and American torture, the New York Times of course prefers Israeli torture: "Israel’s official euphemism, “a moderate measure of physical pressure,” was a touch more honest than the Bush administration’s “enhanced interrogation techniques.”" So the New York Times prefers honest torture.
