Saddam

I read the memoirs of Jihad Karam (a Lebanese ambassador of the Ba`thist regime in Iraq). I will write about it but he reveals that Iraqi intelligence service used to fund the Congress Party in India. We need more info on Saddam's funding of Chirac. Karam did not reduce his admiration for Saddam over the years although he was treated shabbily by the regime although he did manage to profit from the oil-for-food program--by his own admission in the book.
