I just finished on the way back Karim Pakraduni's new book on Emile Lahhud's presidency. It has some original information and he relies on transcript of official meetings but it is not a good book as a book: very disjointed and disorganized and the author is at his best when he draws profiles of people he know. But he has become so apologetic about the Syrian regime (and is still apolegetic about the lousy Gemayyel family).
