Donna Abu-Nasr
I met Donna Abu-Nasr a few times in 1993. But here dispatches from Saudi Arabia have become exceedingly apologetic. I mean this report is quite out of whack, especially when she interviews an editor of mouthpiece of Khalid Al-Faysal to comment on the annoucements by Saudi King: ""This is the true start of the promises of reform," said Jamal Khashoggi, editor of Al-Watan newspaper and an experienced observer of the kingdom's politics. "They bring not only new blood, but also new ideas."" Come on, Donna. Khashoggi (former Bin Ladenite turned Wahhabi "liberal") is a seasoned propagandist for House of Saud. Andrew Hammond, a keen observer of Saudi affairs for Reuters was just kicked out of the kingdom because he refused to toe the line and because he dared to report on the illness of Prince Sultan.
