"Tunisian security forces, under the guise of fighting terrorism, have committed serious rights abuses such as holding inmates incommunicado and torturing them, Amnesty International said in a report. ``Tunisian security forces continue to falsify arrest dates and detain individuals suspected of involvement in terrorist activities in prolonged incommunicado detention that amounts in some cases to enforced disappearance,'' the London-based human rights organization said in a 47-page report released today. ``During this period, detainees are systematically tortured and otherwise ill-treated.''"
