`Amr Hamzawi on Al-Arabiya. I like Hamzawi much better on AlJazeera than on Al-Arabiya: of course, he should be consistent and deliver the same message no matter where he is speaking. One should not tailer one's message to fit the sponsor, so to say. So he was interviewed today about a new bill in Congress that would compel Arab satellite channels to block those media that Alan Dershowitz find objectionable and that AIPAC defines as "terrorist media." I kid you not. So Hamzawi said that Arabs should understand that this came form American public opinion. Excuse me? American public opinion? People in Oklahoma and Iowa know about Al-Aqsa and Al-Manar channels and they forced their representatives to act? Oh, no. This is an area where it is indeed the work of the Israeli lobby. `Amr has a good mind but he is politically too cautious.
