Omar Sharif. I have said before that I only have contempt for this guy. He certainly was not the best Arab actor of his time. I preferred Rushdi Abadha and Ahmad Ramzi and many others over him. When he was "hot" in the 1960s (and only for a few years), he was willing to mock Arabs on American TV. He still speaks in two tongues: he says one thing in English interviews, and another in Arabic interviews. Now, he expresses his regret for playing Che in that lousy movie that he did in 1968. And NOW he says that the movie was a mistake and claims that the CIA was behind the movie. Omar Sharif is as principled as...Ahmad Fatfat.
