Another dumb move by Hizbullah. Hizbullah is silent regarding the by-election in Beirut. It has refused to even discuss the candidacy of leftist (Harakat Ash-Sha`b) Ibrahim Halabi. Publicly, Hizbullah says that it does not recognize the legitimacy of decisions and decrees by the Lebanese government, and privately it has told reporters that they are afraid of allowing Hariri Inc to engage yet another time in massive sectarian agitation. Those Hizbullah's calculations are typically giving more powers to the Hariri family in Lebanon.
