I have been critical of Condoleezza Rice. But I need to praise her when it is deserved. She has asked to meet with the foreign ministers of Jordan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and UAE (do you notice that UAE is emerging as a favored puppet government since the death of Zayid?). She wanted to brief them and grill them with instructions prior to the Arab summit. I thought that this was a very nice gesture that deserves praise. I mean, she did not want those ministers to go unprepared and not know how they should behave, and how they should vote. That was very kind gesture, I thought.
