(Sunni and Shi`ite) Taliban Rule in Iraq: Al-Hayat report. Al-Hayat reports about the new rules in some parts of Iraq. Flyers are being circulated in parts of Iraq banning unveiling, or the shaved head, or the wearing of shorts or jeans. Two women in `Amiriyyah were kidnapped and returned with their heads shaved because they dared to not don the veil. Another person in Dawrah tells the story of his brother who was killed for wearing shorts and cutting his hair fashionably--whatever that means. In Sadr's republic, color clothes are banned during mourning Husayni days, and men are prohibited from shaving clean, and liquor stores and CD sellers are attacked. Some of the militia men are roaming the streets and inspecting. Eh, of course.
