While I am not in agreement with my mother about the issue of Danish cartoons--and I am certainly not as outraged, my mother is right about one thing. It is highly hypocritical how Western media defend insults to Muslims as "freedom of speech" but yet they would never regard insults to Jews (say in some Arab media) as "freedom of speech". Of course, we should oppose insults to any religious group.
