Iraqi "president" Jalal Talbani (who used to fight and then reconcile with Saddam--even after Saddam's gassing of the Kurds and who caused, with his rival Mas`ud Barazani, the death of thousands of innocent Kurds in the Kurdish civil war in the 1990s) was hosted in Washington, DC by fanatic Zionist Haim Saban, who tried to buy Al-Jazeera, and who created a mini-thinktank at Brookings for former AIPAC lobbyist-turned US diplomat, Martin Indyk. In his speech at Brookings, Talbani wanted US troops to stay in Iraq to end the interferences in Iraqi affairs by Iraq's neighbors. US interferences, he forgot to add, are welcome as long as he can keep his militia.
