Some good news to report: There are so many bad news to frustrate you and annoy you. But then you come across some good news in the world. There are good news in the world, even if I am not known to peddle it. Just today, I learned that Thomas Friedman is on vacation, and that he will not be writing columns for a while. Now if I can afford it, I would pay for all of Friedman's vacations, and insist on making them extended, very extended, and would even volunteer him for a vacation in a space station in outerspace. But I would check on him once in a while. Just to make sure that he is taking his vitamins. But could you imagine how annoying Friedman is for people who travel with him, or worse, for people who would spend time with him in outerspace? If there is a heaven, and if Friedman ends there, I bet you that even God would flee to hell, just to stay away from his observations on foreign affairs. And when you think that in the US, Friedman's platitudes are considered "witty" and "insightful." So when is the next flight to the new space station? Just asking.
