NEW YORK TIMES CALLS ATTACKS ON MOSQUES IN FRANCE RETALIATORY

"There had also been several retaliatory attacks on mosques and an explosion at a kebab shop in eastern France."  How many people in the Times would be fired if attacks on synagogues are referred to as "retaliatory"?
