I saw this on Twitter.  Ms Rozen retweeted something that the correspondent of Al-Hayat, the mouthpiece of Prince Khalid bin Sultan, (she was trained at WINEP, mind you) wrote.  She celebrates the "birth" of a new Shi`ite party.  In fact, the party is not new at all and has been receiving funding (by the admission of its "leader", Ahmad Al-As`ad) for years now.  In fact, it fielded candidates against Hizbullah in South Lebanon and the correspondent of Al-Hayat should celebrate its electoral victory in the 2009 election.  It managed to get a whopping 1%--I am not making this up and you can check the full results in Kamal Fghali's Election Encyclopedia---of total Shi`ite vote.  I suggest that it deserves more Saudi funding, don't you?
