Don't underestimate the impact of this memoirs on Arab political culture in those turbulent times. Nasser's late wife apparently wrote her memoirs and they are now being published by Ash-Shuruq newspaper in Egypt and As-Safir in Lebanon. Their significance--politics aside and aside from Saudi historical hate of Nasser--is that they show a modest and highly ascetic leader who had a decent relationship with his wife--unlike the polygamous and non-polygamous Arab rulers.
