Well, Abdullah is also married into a Lebanese family, and into a Moroccan family, and into an Egyptian family, and into an Iraqi family, and into a Palestinian family. And then Moubayed said: "Given its political and economic weight, the Syrians are proud of a friendship with Saudi Arabia..." Friendship? Saudi Arabia was plotting to overthrow the government and led the most vicious media campaign against Syria: its people and culture, and tried to ban Syrian serials.
