US-Saudi warplanes continue bombing hospitals

"The bombings on Wednesday were the second attack by the Saudi-led coalition on a Doctors Without Borders medical site in Yemen in less than two months, and the group’s medical facitilties have been hit in other war zones, including in Afghanistan and Syria. In late October, the Saudi-led coalition destroyed a hospital in Yemen’s northern Haydan district, near the border with Saudi Arabia." "A report last week by the Human Rights Watch that looked at 10 airstrikes across Yemen by the Saudi-led coalition from April through August found that the attacks were not aimed at military targets, or else “failed to distinguish civilians from military objectives,” and most likely amounted to violations of international humanitarian law. The strikes killed at least 309 civilians, said the group, which is based in New York."
