It just occurred to me. The Lebanese state, including the intelligence apparatus that is loyal to Western government and Hariri family, have been uncovering terrorist networks belonging to Salafite Takfiri groups and various car bombs have been uncovered by those groups and there isn't a single reference to that by the Beirut-based correspondents of mainstream US newspapers. Those Western correspondents based in Beirut basically view their mission as feverish service to the propaganda work of the Fee Syrian Army and their Lebanese allies in March 14.
