This week marks a departure for Syrian regime TV media. The official Syrian regime has decided the more sensational and blunt style of Dunya TV (which like Saudi news media follow the style of Fox News). It carried two biting editorials against Muhammad Mursi and Khalid Mish`al. But the Syrian regime is consistently cowardly: they go after easier targets. You would not see direct attacks against the Saudi King because Bashshar--according to my theory--still hopes for under-the-table deal.
