attacks on Syrians in Lebanon
You have to talk to Syrian workers and cab drivers in Lebanon to realize the extent of hatred and racism against them in this lousy entity called Lebanon. Most of those cases are not reported because the police is hostile. Don't think that one sect in Lebanon is less racist than another or that one region is less racist than another. For example, attacks against Syrian workers are common in South Lebanon just as they are common in Mount Lebanon. Here is another case of one Syrian worker stabbed in his face. An American reporter in Lebanon, who shall remain unnamed, is specializing in chronicling the suffering of Syrian workers: she follows and photographs Syrian workers with visible signs of beatings around the city.
