The genius of Daniel Kurtzer
You have to read this study about prospects of war between Israel and Lebanon. What attracted my attention was this section: "First, Hezbollah could initiate hostilities. The recent passing of Lebanese Shia cleric Muhammad Hussein Fadl’Allah, a man with many enemies inside and outside Lebanon, could spark strife within Lebanon in which Hezbollah could decide to attack Israel as a means of unifying its supporters." I mean, this is so ignorant that it is rather funny. Very funny in deed. It is rather striking that fanatical supporters of Israel in the US think that by virtue of their love for Israeli war crimes, they are natural Middle East experts without having to study or learn.
