Amal-Hizbullah
Yesterday, I spent the day in South Lebanon. I was bothered by: 1) the presence of the Lebanese Army because they have not earned the right to serve in South Lebanon because they have not once confronted Israeli attacks on Lebanon; 2) i was bothered by the state of the road from Sayda to Tyre; 3) I was bothered by the status of my grandfather's house in Tyre (pictures later); 4) I was bothered by the "art" work of Hizbullah-Amal in the region. I mean, their posters and banners have the beauty of Ba`thist image propaganda. Finally, there are models of rockets along the road that were used against Israel. I felt the rockets were too small. Israeli attacks and savage invasions require a much bigger arsenal to protect Lebanon.
