Jamal Mubarak feels like dancing..for Israel
Al-Masri Al-Yawm started as a serious newspaper. Look what it degenerated into now. It has a news story that Jamal and `Ala' (the latter is now known as Citizen `Ala') Mubarak danced in Angola in celebration of the victory of the Egyptian soccer team. You see: celebration of national sports teams is now the last refuge of Arab ruling scoundrels. It said that Jamal Mubarak led the crowd in the chant: "Our team is fine, just as the president has said." How poetic and imaginative. Yeah, but did the president say how lousy his army has been vis-a-vis Israel? I mean, one humiliation after another? Why not brag about your defeats at the hands of the army of the Israeli enemy, you ruling brat? Give me at least an interesting Arab ruling group. Man, this crop is unbearable. King Hasan II, Nasser, `Abdul-Karim Qasim, Amin Hafiz, and Bouquiba--politics aside of course--were an interesting bunch at least.
