Mathew sent me this: "This is a very interesting list of countries who have donated to Haiti, compiled by
the AP: Note that it includes Israel's aid but not that of Turkey, Qatar, Iran, the UAE, Kuwait, Jordan, or Morocco, however small they are. Now why would they mention Liberia's $50000 in aid but not Kuwait's $1 million, and why mention Israel's nine metric tons and not Iran's thirty metric tons? There's also a gem at the end of this blog
entry:"Saudi King Abdullah, meanwhile, has
sent a message of condolence to Haitian President René Préval.""
