How original
So criticisms of Israel are anti-Semitic. How original. "Leaders of Canada's Jewish community are warning that anti-Semitism has a new face -- increasingly, it takes the form of the demonization of Israel." I like this formula. So by simply praising Israel or refraining from criticizing it, you prove to yourself and to the world that you are not anti-Semitic. Thus, when Patrick Buchanan was praising Israel when I first came to the US, he was never ever accused of anti-Semitism. But when he started to criticize Israel, he immediately became anti-Semitic in Zionist eyes. Of course, if you ask me, I would say that he was and is anti-Semitic, in both phases of his career.
