Expect the Egyptian services to Israel to grow and expand in the next months and years as long as Husni Mubarak is alive. He is trying very hard to get US approval for his son as his successor. The US government seems to be playing coy, sending different messages and even flirting with Muhammad Al-Baradi`i (or Baradeeeehhhh, in the pronounciation of US media) perhaps to extract more concession on behalf of Israel from Mubarak. The US seems to be leaning from my reading towards Jamal because `Umar Sulayman (a favorite of US and Israel) is rather old (over 70) and `Amr Musa is hated by US and Israel.
