To the Hariri family

You were celebrating yesterday the birthday of dead (very dead) Rafiq Hariri. We are so sick and tired of the story and of the man. Please spare us this unending mourning, and accept that he died and that we all have dear people who died but we don't bore the people to death with the news and the constant references to him. And all those people who appeared on Future TV yesterday to morning Rafiq and who cried on cue on camera were doing so for non-sentimental reasons. These were all employees (or MPs) of the Hariri family. So please take your tears and your death refrains and your songs for Rafiq and news of the boring investigation, and go somewhere else. Go--all members of the Hariri family--and fly a kite on the coast of Spain. It is beautiful there. Personally--and I know I speak at least for a segment of the Lebanese population--I dont care whatsoever to find out who killed Rafiq. I don't care at all. Just leave us alone and turn off the lights on your way out. Oh, and one more thing: no matter how much money you spend on PR and propaganda on behalf of Sa`d Hariri: he is so incompetent, and so unqualified, and so personalityless, and it shows big time.
