How can anyone take Walid Jumblat and his utterances seriously? I mean, really. Yesterday, on the anniversary of the founding of his oddly named, Progressive Socialist Party, he called for a socialist revolution against world capitalism and he blamed capitalism for the sectarianism, divisions, and fragmentation in the Middle East region. So Jumblat, the ally of Elliott Abrams, House of Saud, and House of Hariri, wants a world socialist revolution. And you are expected to take seriously his statements?
