The re-invention of `Allawi
What Western media don't report is that `Allawi runs (and speaks) differently in Iraq. In fact, for the last two years, he has been sounding like the Ba`thist that he was, railing against the American occupation and the puppet government. So you need to factor that in when judging the results of the puppet elections. Whether in Palestine and Iraq, I don't understand how and why (well, I know why, never mind) people take seriously elections-under-foreign-occuption. In fact, I personally am opposed to any election under foreign occupation. In fact, I think that we should fight against elections under foreign occupation. Elections under foreign occupation are intended by the occupiers to legitimize puppet cliques and factions.
