Have you loved a Zionist today?

So the New York Times has standards and requirements for love between a Jewish person and an Arab person: "I suppose that a movie that includes a love affair between an Arab and a Jew might seem avant-garde in Cairo, but it has the air of something gratuitous to us, especially when the Jewish girl must, in effect, disassociate herself from Israel and Zionism." So, if I understand the NYT correctly, if an Arab person loves a Jewish person he/she should insist that the Jewish person is a Zionist fanatic? But I don't get it. A Jewish person should also insist that an Arab person he/she loves should disociate himself/herself from Al-Qa`idah, for example. (thanks Nasser)
