Lebanese MP, Nabil Niqula (a member of the bloc of Gen. `Awn) has officially complained and made a scene at a Paris airport because he was asked to remove his shoes. Tell him to take it easy, and tell him it is not that big a deal to be a member of the lousy Lebanese parliament. Twice, I stood at security lines at Dulles airport and watched a U.S. senator removing her shoes without complaining, and another time a member of Congress did the same.
