In a show that aired 2 weeks ago, comrade Fawwaz Trabulsi appeared with Hizbullah MP, Hasan Fadlallah--one of the most effective Hizbullah spokespeople and the person credited with launching Al-Manar TV, on New TV's Al-Usbu` Fi Sa`ah (I have them stored on my DVR and later watch them during workouts). But Fawwaz did an excellent job in offering (from the left) serious criticisms of Hizbullah: he pointed out that Hizbullah established excellent shelters for fighters in South Lebanon, but not for the people of the South. He also criticized the disregard of issues of social justice by Hizbullah, and reminded the audience that the privatization of the electric power company in Lebanon was initiated by the resigning Hizbullah Minister, Muhammad Fnaysh. Fadlallah said that Hizbullah is "not opposed to privatization in principle."
