Very Angry Arab. When I arrived in Islamabad, I was taken to a government guest house (provided to guests of the state universities). They come with servants and cooks. I was told that I can tell them a dish, and they would prepare it for me (I was not all too comfortable with that. Like how does that work? Me yelling: Biryani or Somosa or Dal?). While I was unloading, I spotted a lizard trying to enter my room. I inquired about the lizard and was told that this is a small size lizard, and that they are "house lizards." I then told my hosts that under no circumstances will I be staying in the government guest house, and that I want to stay at a hotel. They thought that I was kidding. But they quickly realized that I was dead serious. And that was that. Oh, and today I am sick with the flu, in case you care to know. I will resume my speaking engagements tomorrow.
