A Lebanese reporter who was at the scene at the hospital yesterday when the body of Walid `Idu was being brought in told me some of the chants that she heard (and which were not reported in the Lebanese newspapers):

"الله، حريري، طريق الجديدة"

"هزّي هزي يا بيروت وليد عيدو ما بيموت"

"عمر، عثمان، علي، دم السنّة عم يغلي غلي"

"بدنا التار.. بدنا التار.. من لحود ومن بشار" – "بدنا التار بدنا التار من نصر الله ومن بشار"

"اير بنصر الله والضاحية كلها"
