A source on politics, war, the Middle East, Arabic poetry, and art.

I try to follow closely Arab political developments, but I have not seen anything about the interesting nuances in Kuwaiti foreign policy. While the Kuwaiti governments still allows one third of its territory to be used as a US military base, there seems to be some disagreements with the US. Kuwait was notably excluded from the four countries that coordinates with the US on the conspiracy in the region. Today, and while Saudi Arabia continues to boycott Syria, the Kuwaiti crown prince visited Damascus and delivered a message from the Kuwaiti Emir to the Syrian president. If anybody sees articles on Kuwaiti foreign policy, and its clear (but unannounced and unpublicized) rift with Saudi Arabia send it my way NOW.
