What do the Palestinians in Lebanon want? Reliable Lebanese pollster, Abdo Saad, sent me the results of his recent comprehensive poll in the refugee camps in Lebanon. It was conducted in March 2006. Among the findings, Hamas captured the support of 48% of Palestinians, while Fatah camptured the support of 24%. I was pleased that the secular PFLP came in 3rd place, with 12% support. 83% support Hamas' non-recognition of Israel. And 86% support attacks on targets in Palestinian lands occupied in 1948. And 84.7% support the Right of Return (which is quite contrary to the methodologically flawed poll that Khalil Shiqaqi had conducted, and which greatly pleased Zionist media).
